Las estructuras y funciones de los aparatos respiratorio y circulatorio est\u00e1n estrechamente relacionadas. El ajuste en el flujo de uno de ellos afecta directamente al otro.<\/p>\n<p>Es una <em>funci\u00f3n vegetativa<\/em>. Es decir, no est\u00e1 controlada por el c\u00f3rtex cerebral y se mantiene activa mientras dormimos. Tambi\u00e9n puede convertirse en una funci\u00f3n voluntaria.<\/p>\n<p>El Yoga permite de hacer que la respiraci\u00f3n sea consciente de forma moment\u00e1nea. Este espacio de tiempo de respiraci\u00f3n consciente ser\u00e1 suficiente para modificar el automatismo del centro respiratorio que es un verdadero condicionamiento.<\/p>\n<p>La respiraci\u00f3n es un dominio donde, dependiendo de la t\u00e9cnica, existen reglas que no tienen un fundamente real: algunos prefieren utilizar la inspiraci\u00f3n para instalarse en una postura, otros van a privilegiar la expiraci\u00f3n. A menudo se nos dice que para respirar bien, hay que respirar con el vientre. En otros lugares nos dir\u00e1n lo contrario.<\/p>\n<p>Lo que podemos decir con seguridad es que existen 2 grandes tipos de gestos respiratorios:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Los que utilizan las costillas, las abren al inspirar y las cierran al expirar<\/li>\n<li>Los que utilizan la pared abdominal: el vientre se expande en la inspiraci\u00f3n y se contrae con la expiraci\u00f3n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Estos dos tipos de respiraci\u00f3n corresponden a dos formas fundamentalmente diferentes de movilizar los pulmones.<\/p>\n<p>Se pueden combinar y mezclar de todas las formas, cosa que dar\u00e1 diferentes tipos de respiraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>No existe una forma buena o mala de respirar<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>En cualquier caso, la respiraci\u00f3n es la clave m\u00e1s importante de numerosas t\u00e9cnicas en psicoterapia y especialmente en el Yoga.<\/p>\n<p>En el Yoga, las reglas siguientes deben respetarse:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hay que instalar una respiraci\u00f3n de calidad, lenta, regular, amplia y silenciosa<\/li>\n<li>La inspiraci\u00f3n debe hacerse siempre por la nariz, ella filtra y calienta el aire. La corriente de aire estimula las terminaciones nerviosas que controlan el diafragma y activa la hip\u00f3fisis, que es el principal regulador de nuestro sistema endocrino.<\/li>\n<li>Hay que tomar consciencia de la apnea: parada respiratoria entre la inspiraci\u00f3n y la expiraci\u00f3n (o a la inversa).
