Al final de cada d\u00eda, Goenka daba un discurso de 1 hora donde explicaba el por qu\u00e9 de la meditaci\u00f3n y nos contaba algunas historias.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Giving Tree (<a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Giving_Tree\">El \u00e1rbol generoso<\/a>)<\/em> fue una de esas historias y quiero compartirla con vosotros. Esta historia habla del amor incondicional, de amar por amar sin pedir nada a cambio: como unos padres aman a sus hijos. Este es el amor de las personas iluminadas.<\/p>\n<p>Este v\u00eddeo en ingl\u00e9s es muy bueno: la voz, la m\u00fasica, por eso os lo recomiendo directamente (texto en castellano m\u00e1s abajo):<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"The Giving Tree (Shel Silverstein)\" width=\"930\" height=\"698\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zWu_eJTlngs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>El \u00e1rbol generoso<\/h3>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hopeinthehealing.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/givingtree1.jpg\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" width=\"640\" height=\"236\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Hab\u00eda una vez un \u00e1rbol que amaba a un peque\u00f1o ni\u00f1o.<br \/>\nY todos los d\u00edas el ni\u00f1o ven\u00eda y recog\u00eda sus hojas para hacerse con ellas una corona y jugar al rey del bosque.<br \/>\nSub\u00eda por su tronco y se mec\u00eda en sus ramas, com\u00eda manzanas, ambos jugaban al escondite.<br \/>\nY cuando estaba cansado, dorm\u00eda bajo su sombra.<br \/>\nEl ni\u00f1o amaba al \u00e1rbol mucho<br \/>\nY el \u00e1rbol era feliz.<br \/>\nPero el tiempo pas\u00f3 y el ni\u00f1o creci\u00f3 y el \u00e1rbol se quedaba a menudo solo.<br \/>\nPero un d\u00eda, el \u00e1rbol vio venir a su ni\u00f1o y le dijo:<\/p>\n<p>\u00abVen, Ni\u00f1o s\u00fabete a mi tronco y m\u00e9cete en mis ramas y come mis manzanas y juega bajo mi sombra y s\u00e9 feliz.\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00abYa soy muy grande para trepar y jugar, \u00bb dijo el ni\u00f1o.<br \/>\n\u00abYo quiero comprar cosas y divertirme, necesito dinero. \u00bfPodr\u00edas d\u00e1rmelos?\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00abLo siento,\u00bb dijo el \u00e1rbol, \u00abpero yo no tengo dinero. S\u00f3lo tengo hojas y manzanas. Coge mis manzanas y v\u00e9ndelas en la ciudad as\u00ed tendr\u00e1s dinero y ser\u00e1s feliz.\u00bb<br \/>\nY, as\u00ed, \u00e9l se subi\u00f3 al \u00e1rbol, recogi\u00f3 las manzanas y se las llev\u00f3 y el \u00e1rbol se sinti\u00f3 feliz.<br \/>\nPero pas\u00f3 mucho tiempo y su ni\u00f1o no volv\u00eda y el \u00e1rbol estaba triste.<br \/>\nY entonces, un d\u00eda regres\u00f3 y el \u00e1rbol se agit\u00f3 alegremente y le dijo, \u00abVen, Ni\u00f1o, s\u00fabete a mi tronco, m\u00e9cete en mis ramas y s\u00e9 feliz.\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00abEstoy muy ocupado para trepare \u00e1rboles\u00bb dijo \u00e9l. \u00abNecesito una casa que me sirva de abrigo.\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00abQuiero una esposa y unos ni\u00f1os, y por eso quiero una casa. \u00bfPuedes t\u00fa d\u00e1rmela?\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00abYo no tengo casa\u00bb, dijo el \u00e1rbol.<br \/>\n\u00abEl bosque es mi hogar, pero t\u00fa puedes cortar mis ramas y hacerte una casa. Entonces ser\u00e1s feliz.\u00bb<br \/>\nY as\u00ed \u00e9l cort\u00f3 sus ramas y se la llev\u00f3 para construir su casa.<br \/>\nY el \u00e1rbol se sinti\u00f3 feliz&#8230;<br \/>\nPero pas\u00f3 mucho tiempo y su ni\u00f1o no volv\u00eda.<br \/>\nY cuando regres\u00f3 el \u00e1rbol estaba tan feliz que apenas pudo hablar.<br \/>\n\u00abVen, Ni\u00f1o\u00bb susurr\u00f3. \u00abVen y juega.\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00abEstoy muy viejo y triste para jugar\u00bb, dijo \u00e9l.<br \/>\n\u00abQuiero un bote que me lleve lejos de aqu\u00ed. \u00bfPuedes t\u00fa d\u00e1rmelo?\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00abCorta mi tronco y hazte un bote,\u00bb dijo el \u00e1rbol.\u00bbEntonces podr\u00e1s navegar lejos&#8230; y ser\u00e1s feliz.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Y as\u00ed \u00e9l cort\u00f3 el tronco.<br \/>\nY se hizo un bote y naveg\u00f3 lejos.<br \/>\nY el \u00e1rbol se sinti\u00f3 feliz.<br \/>\nPero no realmente.<br \/>\nY despu\u00e9s de mucho tiempo, su ni\u00f1o volvi\u00f3 nuevamente.<br \/>\n\u00abLo siento, Ni\u00f1o,\u00bb dijo el \u00e1rbol, \u00abpero ya no tengo nada para darte. Ya no me quedan manzanas.\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00abMis dientes son muy d\u00e9biles para comer manzanas\u00bb, le contest\u00f3 el ni\u00f1o.<br \/>\n\u00abYa no me quedan ramas, t\u00fa ya no puedes mecerte en ellas\u00bb \u2013 dijo el \u00e1rbol.<br \/>\n\u00abEstoy muy viejo para columpiarme en las ramas,\u00bb dijo el ni\u00f1o.<br \/>\n\u00abYa no tengo tronco\u00bb dijo el \u00e1rbol, \u00abt\u00fa ya no puedes trepar.\u00bb<br \/>\n\u00abEstoy muy cansado para trepar\u00bb le contest\u00f3 el ni\u00f1o.<br \/>\n\u00abQuisiera poder darte algo&#8230; pero ya no me queda nada. Soy solo un viejo toc\u00f3n. Lo siento&#8230;\u00bb dijo el \u00e1rbol.<br \/>\n\u00abYo no necesito mucho ahora, solo un lugar tranquilo para reposar, estoy muy cansado,\u00bb dijo el ni\u00f1o.<br \/>\n\u00abBien\u00bb, dijo el \u00e1rbol reanim\u00e1ndose, \u00abun viejo toc\u00f3n es bueno para sentarse y descansar. Ven, Ni\u00f1o, si\u00e9ntate.
