Se trata de una entrevista a un neuroendocrin\u00f3logo donde nos explica las siguientes claves:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>La hormona del placer es la dopamina<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>El placer es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de obtener, ya que requiere un est\u00edmulo externo: comer chocolate, hacer deporte, beber alcohol, practicar sexo&#8230; La dopamina excita las neuronas, y estas reaccionan cerrando sus receptores. El hecho de que las neuronas cierren sus receptores es lo que hace que cada vez necesitemos m\u00e1s est\u00edmulo para conseguir el mismo placer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La b\u00fasqueda del placer genera adicci\u00f3n, y esto nos hace desgraciados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>La hormona de la felicidad\/bienestar es la serotonina<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>En cambio, la serotonina es inhibidora de las neuronas y no las excita; al contrario, nos relaja y crece al compartir con otros ese bienestar. Lo interesante es que la serotonina es menos \u00abevidente\u00bb de generar. As\u00ed como la dopamina puede ser generada por factores externos, la serotonina podr\u00edamos decir que se genera de forma interna (a trav\u00e9s de acciones previas).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>La dopamina impide a la serotonina actuar<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Por eso buscar el placer aleja la felicidad. Porque el bienestar desaparece con la gratificaci\u00f3n inmediata que nos dan las drogas, la comida basura, o con conductas como la creciente adicci\u00f3n compulsiva a las pantallas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>______<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hablemos ahora de una historia explicada en el Katha Upanishad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En ella se cuenta la historia de Nachiketa:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>El padre de Nachiketa quer\u00eda hacer una ofrenda a los dioses. Nachiketa se dio cuenta de que esa ofrenda no ser\u00eda suficiente y se ofreci\u00f3 a s\u00ed mismo.<\/p><p>Su padre, enfadado, lo ofreci\u00f3 a la muerte (Yama). As\u00ed Nachiketa parti\u00f3 y lleg\u00f3 a la morada de la muerte, donde esper\u00f3 durante 3 d\u00edas y 3 noches. Cuando la muerte lleg\u00f3, le ofreci\u00f3 3 deseos, uno por cada d\u00eda que hab\u00eda esperado.<\/p><p>Nachiketas le pidi\u00f3 primero que acabara con el enfado de su padre. Y as\u00ed obr\u00f3 la muerte.<\/p><p>El segundo deseo fue conocer el secreto del fuego que conduce al cielo.  Yama entonces le ense\u00f1a a Nachiketa a preparar el sacrificio del fuego e incluso acu\u00f1a su nombre para este ritual.<\/p><p>El tercer y \u00faltimo deseo de Nachiketas es conocer el secreto de la vida y la muerte, de saber qu\u00e9 hay m\u00e1s all\u00e1. Yama le dice que no puede satisfacer tal deseo, y le ofrece todas las riquezas del mundo, todos los placeres que pueda imaginar. Pero Nachiketas le responde que de nada sirven todas las riquezas y placeres, si al final todo es impermanente.<\/p><p>La muerte, satisfecha con la respuesta de Nachiketas, empieza entonces a explicar este secreto, y la primera frase que dice es la siguiente:<\/p><p><em>Existe el camino de la dicha y existe el camino del placer. Ambos atraen al alma.
